Volunteers

Volunteers are what make YFC work. Our programs require the time and effort of members of the body of Christ. From providing a hot meal for the kids in our programs to mentoring a young person who needs a positive role model, our volunteers make a difference. If you hear the call to serve the youth of Lebanon city, we have a place for you.

Youth Programs

Each week over 150 kids K4-12th grade go through our youth programs.  Volunteers are vital to the success of our weekly youth programs. They drive vans and buses, teach classes, lead worship, assist with games, interact with students and help maintain order.

Maintenance

YFC is blessed to have wonderful facilities for ministry.  However, our buildings, vehicles and equipment need regular maintenance and occasional repair. Contact us if you are interested in knowing the specific needs and how you can lend your skills to maintain YFC’s facilities.

Administrative

Throughout the year, YFC calls on a team of volunteers to assist with mailings, phone calls, and other light office work. We also need volunteers who assist with our annual fund raising events.

Urban Missionary Program

Be part of the story God is lovingly writing about the kids of Lebanon! The Urban Missionary Program is a ministry focused on Christian service and youth mentorship. Urban Missionaries work closely with youth program directors to assist with their ministry needs. They also mentor, counsel, and encourage the students assigned to them.

Urban Missionaries are called to be Relational—love their Lebanon neighbors, Missional—live with a purpose, and Transformational—experience what God can do and is doing.

The program offers Urban Missionaries the option to serve for a summer or a year. Typical work hours are from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Urban Missionaries must raise their own financial support. Current Volunteer Needs

  • Small Group LeadersWe currently have a need for 28 small group leaders. During our club times, you and a co-leader would lead 5-7 same grade and gender students in discussing the lesson and building relationships.  You would have the same group every week.  If you’d like to know how you can make a difference in a young child’s life, please call Michael Dodson 717-272-2400 x403.
